Privacy notice
This notice covers initial enquiries and this website. When supporting documents are needed for an accepted assignment, I explain the appropriate sharing method separately.
Who is responsible?
Alexandre Magnin EI, trading as France Sorted, is responsible for deciding how personal information is used for this service (the data controller). You can write to alexandre@francesorted.com or to 225 chemin des Âmes du Purgatoire, 06600 Antibes, France.
What the form collects
Your name, email address and message are required to send an enquiry. Your choice of service and any deadline are optional. Without the required information, the form cannot send your request; you can contact Alexandre directly by email instead.
Please describe the help you need without including passwords, login codes, identity documents, tax identifiers, payment-card details or medical information. The form does not accept attachments. Any documents needed for an assignment will be discussed separately, with an appropriate sharing method and privacy information.
Why the information is used
A service enquiry is used to understand your request, reply and, if appropriate, prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Other correspondence and the technical operation and protection of this website rely on legitimate interests in responding to messages and providing a secure service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Information necessary to comply with an applicable legal obligation, including handling data-rights requests, is processed on that basis (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Your enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or advertising list. This form does not make automated decisions about you.
Where your enquiry goes
When you select “Send my enquiry”, the form sends your details to Formspree for processing and delivery to Alexandre. Formspree also processes technical data to operate its service. The alternative email-draft option prepares a message locally; it is sent only when you choose to send it through your email provider.
Alexandre handles enquiries. The professional mailbox is supplied by OVHcloud. Hosting is provided through OpenAI’s ChatGPT Sites, which processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as connection and request data. These providers and their authorised service providers may process information for their respective roles.

Processing outside the European Economic Area
Formspree states that it processes information in the United States and other countries where it operates and describes safeguards, including standard contractual clauses, on its security page. ChatGPT Sites does not guarantee storage or processing exclusively within the European Economic Area; see its terms for information on applicable data processing arrangements. How long information is kept
Enquiries that do not become client assignments are kept for up to six months after the last substantive exchange, unless information must be kept longer for a legal obligation or dispute. This limit is administered by Alexandre for the copies he controls in his mailbox and Formspree; provider logs and backups are governed by their own retention arrangements. If you become a client, the purposes and retention arrangements for the assignment are explained before supporting documents are collected.
Cookies and browser storage
The website code adds no advertising trackers, analytics scripts or third-party web fonts, and does not save form entries in browser storage. Hosting services may use technical storage or process connection data needed to operate and protect the website. A consent mechanism will be added if non-essential tracking requiring consent is introduced.
Your rights
Depending on the processing and the applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your information, and portability where applicable. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Send your request to alexandre@francesorted.com or to the postal address above. Only information needed to verify your request will be sought if verification is necessary.
You can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
